Poila Baisakh (First day of the Bengali Calendar) marks the Bengali New Year on the 15th of April and is one of the biggest festivals celebrated by Bengalis across the World. On this day, you can greet them in the native language with a ‘Shubho Nobobarsho Abhinandanam’ which means ‘Welcoming the new year’. The design is a representation of ‘Owl’, which is considered a symbol of wealth, prosperity, wisdom, good luck and Fortune in Bengali culture and ‘Rice Paddy sticks’, which denote the start of the harvest season.
It feels soft and lightweight, with the right amount of stretch. It’s comfortable and flattering for both men and women.
